Girls Varsity Golf Lakeview Invitational @ Cedar Creek GC

The Girls Varsity Golf team continued to show improvement in their second event of the season as they hosted the Lakeview Invitational at Cedar Creek Golf Course on August 20th. The Spartans finished second, out of 12 teams, only seven shots behind SMAC East rival, Gull Lake. The team had two top-ten medalists: Amiyah Gibson 78 (3rd) and Alexa Thurman 83 (T-8th). Other Spartan scores were Annabelle Minneman 88, Ella Seiler 106, Kayla Franklin 108 and Grace Cherney 109. The girls will compete in the first SMAC Conference meet at Stonehedge North GC on Thursday, August 26.
