The Lakeview Girls Varsity Golf Team played at the Division 2 State Finals on October 15 and 16 at Bedford Valley GC. The girls put on a great performance both days and battled to the very end with a 7th Place finish! After the first round, the team found themselves tied for 9th place with a score of 367. The second round was played in cold and windy conditions, but the team climbed up the scoreboard and had the second lowest team score for day two, with a score of 347 (which also tied the low team score of the season). The total two day score of 714 put the Spartans in 7th Place out of 18 teams!
Congratulations to an outstanding season, the team never gave up and are already talking about how to improve next year!
