The cold and windy conditions made it tough for all players today, however the Lady Spartans put together one of their best rounds of the year at today's regional held at Coldwater Golf Course. McKenna Evans led the Spartans today with a 92. Brooklyn Burrows put together her career best round today shooting 100. Maddie Yorke added a 103 and Payton Stitt posted a 127. Halen Kline was the 5th score today with a 130. The 422 was their best 18 hole team score for the season but fell short of qualifying as a team for the State Finals.
McKenna Evans qualified for the Div. II state finals with a sudden death playoff for the last individual spot. She won the first playoff hole with a bogey and punched her ticket to the state finals held at Akers West at Michigan State University next weekend.
