Lakeview Boys won their first game of the season over Pennfield 5-0 and improve their record to 1-1 for the year.
The Spartans defense was dominant again and did not let up a single shot on goal. Josef Quispe, Daniel Ramos and Rual Sang led the defense in the dominant showing.
The Spartans were lead offensively by Skyler Sebring and Gerardo Flores who both scored two goals each. Mitch Grosteffon added the fifth and final goal for the Spartans.
Javi Carrillo and Sebring both had two assists on the day. Grosteffon also paced Lakeview with an assist.
Lakeview will play next at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix on Monday August 27 for their first conference match.
