On Wednesday 12/5 the Spartan wrestlers opened the 2018-19 season with two lopsided victories vs Harper Creek and Pennfield. Lakeview won 12 of 14 matches vs Harper winning 63-12. The Spartans then won 13 of 14 matches vs Pennfield winning 76-6. Undefeated wrestlers on the night were Gabe Livingston at 103. Armondo Callejas at 119, Evan Sheeders at 125, Mason Foster at 125/130, Jacob White at 135/140, Kaleb Erskine at 135/140, Josh Wright 145, Joseph Quispe 152, Nick Saumier at 160, Javier Carrillo 171, Jordan Loss 215. Andrew Miller and Nicholas JoPaul, and Hunter Eldred each added one victory.
