The Spartan Spikers had a good day yesterday by closing out the regular season 2-1 on the day.
LHS 2-1 on the day
LHS def St Joe 2-0 (25-22, 25-15) - Quarter Final
LHS def Niles 2-0 (25-16, 25-19) - Semi Final
Mattawan d. LHS 2-0 (25-12, 25-15) - Final
Mattawan wins SMAC Tournament...LHS finished 2nd in the tournament.
Great overall performance by the whole team. We've had line up changes the past few weeks and we've been working on being resilient.
Overall record now: 35-19-1
We head to Sturgis for Districts tomorrow...we play Coldwater at 6pm Monday November 4th.

The Spartan Volleyball regular is drawing to a close Spartan Sports Fans!
The JV Team finished 3rd at the SMAC tournament yesterday, as did the Freshman team!

A week of ups & downs. Dig Pink/Block Out Cancer was another successful event. We raised over $1000 and will be able to donate to the Side Out Foundation and the Battle Creek Cancer Center. Thank you to all for your support.
The Varsity Team lost a difficult match to Gull Lake last Wednesday (3-0) but regrouped to get to the Gold Bracket semi final at the Holt Invite (4-1 on the day)

Grand Haven Invite August 27: The Varsity team finished 4th overall. Playing very tough Div 1 ranked teams Mattawan (4th) and host Grand Haven (5th). Record on the day 2-3.
