Girls’ Varsity Tennis
All City Tennis Tournament 2017
Date: 5/5/17 and 5/6/17
The Lakeview Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team won the All-City Tennis Tournament on May 5th and 6th. Lakeview was undefeated throughout the tournament and won each of the 8 flights.
The Spartans finished 1st with 40 points. St. Philip and Harper Creek need to finish a few matches to determine who is 2nd place. Pennfield finished 4th with 17 points and Battle Creek ended up 5th with 13 points.
Champions for the singles flights were #1 Megan Wendt, #2 Michelle Zhang, #3 Autumn Babas and #4 Hailey Lesiow.
The four doubles teams for Lakeview that were champions were #1Mei Abe/Breh Ruger, #2 Kyla Marquez and Co Nguyen, #3 Kendall Johnson and Madison Schrader, and #4 Brigitte Colquhoun and Runa Kinjo.
