Girls’ Varsity Tennis

All City Tournament 2019

The Lakeview Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team won the All-City Tennis Tournament on May 4^th.  Lakeview won 5 out of the 8 flights and took 2^nd place in the other 2 flights with the #1 singles flight with Aryana Banerji still to finish with Harper Creek to see who takes second place.   

The Spartans finished 1^st with 33 points so far.  Harper Creek finished second place with 28 points.  Each team could win 1 more point.  Pennfield and St. Philip tied for 3^rd place with 23 points and Battle Creek Central finished fifth with 6 points. 

Champions for the singles flights were #2 Breh Ruger,  #3 Co Nguyen, and #4 Kelsey Marquez.  The #3 doubles team of Sophia Pwe/Madelyn Cawnhlun and #4 doubles team of Elizabeth Ngun Cer Sung/Rosy Zuun were champions at their flight.  The two doubles teams for Lakeview that were runner-ups were #1 Elise Norman/Libby Robins and #2 Brigitte Colquhoun/Sharon Huang.
