Lakeview Girls’ Varsity Tennis takes 1^st place at Marshall High School Spring Sports Festival Singles and Doubles Tournament on 4/17/21

The Lakeview Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team played at the Marshall High School Spring Sports Festival Singles and Doubles Tournament on Saturday, April 17.  The team finished in 1^st place out of the four team tournament.  The team results were: 1^st – Lakeview – 28 points, 2^nd – Edwardsburg – 24 points, 3^rd – Marshall 20 points, 4^th – Leslie – 8 points.

The Spartans who took first place at their flight were:

#2 singles - Aryana Banerji, #4 singles – Melissa Salinas, #1 doubles – Sophia Pwe and Yaritza Salinas, #3 doubles – Alina Murata and Rosey Sung, and #4 doubles – Rebecca Linn and Elise Segal.

The team got 2^nd place finishes from #1 singles – Elise Norman and #2 doubles – Mallory Kowalski and Annabelle Minneman. 

And the Spartans also got a 3^rd place finish from #3 singles – Rosy Zunn.

Their next match will be against Mattawan on Monday, the 19^th at home.  Congratulations to the Spartan tennis players.
